Contributions to political canditates are not tax deductible. An individual may contribute up to $6,650 per election cycle to a county candidate. Contributions from corporations, LLCs, labor unions, and foreign nationals are prohibited. Contributions by check must be made from a personal account not associated with a corporate or business entity. State law requires candidates to report contributor’s name, mailing address, occupation and name of their employer
