“Beth Ford, the elected treasurer of Pima County since 2000, will step down on April 12, she said Wednesday, asking the Pima County Board of Supervisors to appoint her chief deputy to serve for the remainder of her term…”

“Ford, a CPA, said that after Ackerley’s work as her chief deputy for two years, “I have every confidence he can lead the office through the challenges of the coming years and wholeheartedly recommend that you appoint him to fill the remainder of the term.”
